Eset NOD32 constantly prompts

Sep 19, 2016 at 11:59 PM

I am using Alpha8 version of WFN! I have two issues, that I did not find a solution. The Eset NOD32's ekrn.exe service constantly prompts for outgoing connection even though rules exist to allow. The rule set to the most general situation both for local and remote ports, IPs and protokols.

The other issue what I found is, that I am unable to edit rules on the page 'firewall rules'. Even the multiple selection for removing is impossible.

I appreciate any feedback. Thank you!

WFN is suffering from a bug where WFN will sometimes forget rules and will constantly prompt you for a rule for a program. Hopefully the developers can fix this in the next update.

As for your other issue, I believe Daniel (a developer for this project) had some ideas to improve that section.

Hang in there, WFN is still alpha and it will improve in time. Thank you for using WFN.

A new version was just released. Can you try the latest Alpha release, and see if Eset NOD32's service is still causing trouble for you?
